Cannur Bozkurt

Vice President of Business Development, ignis H2 Energy

Biography

Cannur Bozkurt has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, specializing in geothermal resource exploration, development and investment project management. She began her career at Perenco and Petrobras as an exploration geologist and petrophysicist, working on onshore and offshore operations. In 2011, she transitioned to renewable energy, helping establish Transmark Türkiye. Following roles at Transmark, the TAQA Geothermal Center of Excellence and Enerchange Türkiye, she now leads the development of new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and geothermal investments at IGNIS H2 Energy.

A graduate of Hacettepe University in Geological and Hydrogeological Engineering, Bozkurt completed her postgraduate studies at IFP School. She also serves as a Board Member of JED and GEAA’s Ambassador for Türkiye, contributing to industry development and international collaboration. Her work focuses on reducing geothermal investment risks and translating subsurface energy potential into sustainable solutions.
